
The MAXIMO Utility Working Group (MUWG) is an industry group representing over 145 utility companies, counties and cities throughout the U.S., Canada, China, South Africa, Pakistan, Japan, and the Caribbean that exchange information related to the implementation and application of the MAXIMO asset management system. Two workshops are held each year, one in the Spring/Summer, the other in Fall/Winter. If you are a licensed MAXIMO user and meet the criteria of the charter you can attend a workshop.

MUWG Planner/Scheduler Certification Program
MUWG will be providing a certification program and process that will be centered on planning and scheduling best practices. There will be three levels of Certification based on a body of knowledge associated with asset management planning and scheduling principles, application of business processes and the use of Maximo. This program will be modeled after the military and Canadian planner scheduler certification programs. The complete program details will be available by the end of March 2010.
