I lead the LCRA Work Management SME Team which coordinates all aspects of our Maximo System.  The team has representatives from all business areas within LCRA.

We are continually striving to improve our business processes through the use of Maximo. Our next steps will be to upgrade from Maximo 5.2 and implement Maximo ITAM.

I have worked for APS over 21 years in the field, Supervision and presently as a System Analyst Integrator in IT.  I am the system expert for Maximo and support all the Fossil Generation Maximo’s.   I have been involved with CMMS’s for 19 years and with Maximo since 1994.

Presently I am on the Fossil Generation MXES Upgrade Team providing Maximo and IT support for the team.  We have migrated seven 4.1.1 databases into one 6.2.1 database.  We have two databases remaining.  It has been a challenge to develop these requirements so the end product will meet both management and end users needs.

I have been attending MUWG since 1997 and have been a member of the steering committee for 4 years.  This has been a great learning experience to network with other Companies interested in improving their processes and the tools they use to manage their business.

I am Vice President, Maintenance/Asset Reliability for Covanta, the global leader in the Energy from Waste (EfW) industry.

I am responsible for overall asset reliability and maintenance responsibilities along with the identification and implementation of best practices at 57 Energy from Waste, hydro, and biomass facilities domestically.   The primary business objective includes improving asset reliability and availability while reducing overall life cycle costs.  I also lead a centralized asset reliability support team that provides expert technical guidance and field support in the areas of Electrical Maintenance, Preventive and Proactive Asset Reliability Programs, Turbine/Generators, Cranes, Mobile Assets, Project Management, Contractor Performance, and Enterprise Asset Management Systems.  I interface with over 450 Maintenance and Asset Reliability professionals who perform hands on activities at the sites.  I am also the Executive Business Owner of the NERC Reliability Standard Compliance Program at Covanta focused on improving the reliability of the domestic bulk electric system.

I have over 23 years of experience in power generation projects utilizing various fuels, including nuclear, coal, oil, natural gas, hydro, biomass, special waste, and municipal solid waste. 

Earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and MBA from Eastern University.  I am a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), certified Six-Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University and a Root Cause Analysis Expert, trained in multiple methodologies.  I am a member of the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals, and past member of the Electric Power Generation Association (EPGA) Generation Subcommittee, and current Chairman of the newly formed national Generator Forum focused on compliance with the NERC Reliability Standards.

Currently the Business Program Manager Lead of the Work and Asset Management (WAM) Segment in BGE’s Business Transformation Department. WAM’s Maximo Implementation project is expanding the use of Maximo into all areas of BGE’s Work and Asset Management Process.

Earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineer & Operations Research from Virginia Tech and a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola College.

Experience at BGE, includes a variety of position in staff and operating areas, including: Distribution Engineering, Resource Management, Customer Engineering, Auditing, Distribution Construction, Planning and Support, Outdoor Lighting and Business Planning.

Steve Klepper is Administrative Superintendent for the City of Corpus Christi Texas, where he helps the City’s water utilities improve their work and asset management practices and develop service delivery strategies. His current role also involves water financing strategies, cost of service, and water rate design. He earned a Masters Degree, completed coursework necessary for a Ph. D in finance, and over the last twenty years has taught finance, economics and accounting part time as an adjunct in various colleges and universities.

Steve has published a number of articles on the value of asset management in municipal government. Over the last five years, Steve has made numerous presentations at annual conferences of the American Water Works (AWWA), Water Environment Federation (WEF) and American Public Works Association (APWA).  He has also presented at three of the PULSE conferences.

I am an electrical engineer, PE, and have worked for Duke Energy for 29 years in Power Delivery (Transmission & Distribution). I have worked in various positions including Mgr, Distr. Special Projects, District Engineer, and Business Project Manager for various technology projects.

I have been involved in design and implementation of many of the key Power Delivery technology systems including GIS, OMS, Mobile Design Tools, and Work Management systems.

I am currently working as a Technology Consultant focusing on Work and Asset Management Strategies for Power Delivery and serving on our Enterprise Asset Management Project team implementing Maximo 6 across Duke Energy.

Duke Energy currently uses Maximo 4.1.1 in T&D and F/H Generation focused on asset management.

We are currently involved in a project to implement Maximo 6 for Work and Asset Management  and Supply Chain for T&D, Gas Operations, Fleet, and F/H Generation.

I have worked for El Paso Corp. for 27 years in various Accounting areas, on Re-engineering projects and as the MAXIMO Coordinator / Administrator from the user side.  I am currently a Consultant in the Compliance group at El Paso’s Pipeline Group.

I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and also hold the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) designation.

I have been involved in our MAXIMO implementation and support since 1996 and have been a frequent attendee and presenter at MRO/MAXIMO World and the MUWG conferences.

I am an AFE Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) with a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology.  I am the MAXIMO business system owner for the Midwest Region of Generation for Dynegy.  We are currently using MAXIMO v. 6.1 for power plant maintenance, capital additions, and inventor

Prior to the recent regionalization of Generation, I was the MAXIMO business owner for all of Generation. I participated in the initial conversion from mainframe AMPS system to MAXIMO v. 4.0.3 in year 2000, and was part of the upgrade to version 4.1.1.  Four separate divisions of Generation converged, and Dynegy was one of the first users to migrate from v. 4.1.1 to v. 6.1.  In 2007, we acquired 10 plants, and are in the midst of converting their MAXIMO current versions, to the Dynegy standard version 6.1.
In parallel with the v. 4 to 6 conversion, I lead a separate effort to restore bar code capability to site storerooms.  Five sites are active on the new system, with the remaining site rollouts to be completed by the end of 2008.
Prior to these last 12 years in the fossil system, for 16 years I held various positions at the then Illinois Power Clinton 1 nuclear facility, including construction management, maintenance planning, scheduling, work control, outage management, and emergency response organization.

In her 31 years with Southern Company, Terri has held positions in Supply Chain Management, Plant Construction, Information Technology, Volume Procurement and Supplier Program at both Georgia Power and SCS. Before assuming her current responsibilities, Terri was a sourcing manager for the Supply Chain Management organization. Terri has led numerous internal system-wide Supply Chain initiatives during her career, for example the New SCM Employee Orientation program and the Raw Material Trending program.  Terri was also a key member of the Results by Leadership Team that developed the Southern LifeStyle program.

Director of Maximo for Enterprise Solutions Support, Southern Company Services (SCS); Supply chain and procurement business area expert for the initial implementation of Maximo at Southern Company.  Terri leads a team which provides Maximo daily support for Southern’s regulated subsidiaries.

I have worked in the Utility Industry for the last 28 years.  I spent the first 18 years in the Nuclear Generation Organization in Instrument and Controls Maintenance and Planning and Scheduling.  The last 10 years have been with ITS.  I was trained as an Electronics Technician in the US Navy. I have a BBA in Operations Management from the University of Toledo.

Currently, I am the Maximo Product Manager for DTE Energy, responsible for Level 2 and Level 3 support, enhancements, and strategic direction of Maximo.   Maximo is used in Nuclear and Fossil Generation, Gas and Electric Distribution, Facilities, and DTE Energy’s Non-Regulated Subsidiaries.  I am also the ITS Manager responsible for all Fossil Generation IT Systems.  I represent DTE at IBM’s Maximo Advisory Council.

I have actively participated in MWUG for the last 6 years. I joined the steering committee in  2009.

With over 30 years of professional experience working with utility companies, he has broad experience in working with electric, gas and water utilities. Ron has worked in fossil and nuclear generation in the areas of plant operations & maintenance, engineering and project management systems, and outage management.
