I have worked in the Utility Industry for the last 28 years.  I spent the first 18 years in the Nuclear Generation Organization in Instrument and Controls Maintenance and Planning and Scheduling.  The last 10 years have been with ITS.  I was trained as an Electronics Technician in the US Navy. I have a BBA in Operations Management from the University of Toledo.

Currently, I am the Maximo Product Manager for DTE Energy, responsible for Level 2 and Level 3 support, enhancements, and strategic direction of Maximo.   Maximo is used in Nuclear and Fossil Generation, Gas and Electric Distribution, Facilities, and DTE Energy’s Non-Regulated Subsidiaries.  I am also the ITS Manager responsible for all Fossil Generation IT Systems.  I represent DTE at IBM’s Maximo Advisory Council.

I have actively participated in MWUG for the last 6 years. I joined the steering committee in  2009.

I have worked for Arizona Public Service for over 28 years.  During that time I have held various positions in the Energy Delivery/Transmission and Distribution business units for both capital and O&M work including managing the equipment and location records.

I have supported Maximo since 1996.  My role is primarily to act as a liaison between the business users and IT.  Additionally, I work with the end users for functional support, specific reports, and queries, document business requirements for upgrades/changes to Maximo and support systems, and other Maximo needs.  I have also been intimately involved in the implementation of the major Maximo upgrades since 1996.

I have actively participated in MUWG and have attended many of the workshops over 10 plus years.

I have worked for Dynegy and various subsidiaries for 19 years in numerous positions from Operation, Maintenance and Corporate. I am currently Manager – Operations Information Systems.

With Dynegy, I have been involved in our Maximo implementation and support since 2006 to our current enterprise version of 6.2.6. I have been managing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems since 1989.

Originally trained as a Nuclear Reactor Operator with the US Navy, most of my power experience is with combined cycle, natural gas facilities.

I have participated in MUWG since 2006 as a presenter and attendee, and now as a new member of the steering committee.

I have worked for El Paso Corp. for 31 years in various Accounting areas, on process / re-engineering projects and as the Maximo Coordinator / Administrator from the user side.  I am currently a Consultant in the DOT Compliance group at El Paso’s Pipeline Group.

I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and also hold the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) designation.

I have been involved in numerous Maximo implementations and have supported Maximo since 1996.

I have been a frequent attendee and presenter at PULSE/Maximo World and at MUWG and other conferences.

Over 30 years in the Utility Business, roles within Plant Maintenance and Asset and Work Management.

Terri has over 33 years with Southern Company. During that time she has held positions in Supply Chain Management, Plant Construction, Information Technology, Volume Procurement and Supplier Program at both Georgia Power and SCS. Before assuming her current responsibilities, Terri was a sourcing manager for the Supply Chain Management organization. Terri has led numerous internal system-wide Supply Chain initiatives during her career, for example the New SCM Employee Orientation program and the Raw Material Trending program.  Terri was also a key member of the Results by Leadership Team that developed the Southern LifeStyle program.

Director of Maximo for Enterprise Solutions Support, Southern Company Services (SCS); Supply chain and procurement business area expert for the initial implementation of Maximo at Southern Company.  Terri leads a team which provides Maximo daily support for Southern’s regulated subsidiaries.

I work in IT and am a director responsible for delivery of IT services for Luminant Fossil Generation and Mining. I have worked for the company since the mid 1980’s starting originally in Distribution Engineering then Transmission Planning and eventually moving into an IT role. I left to work in IT consulting in 2000 and recently rejoined the company to work for Luminant helping them implement Maximo.

Cristy Bennett has been associated with the Electric Utility Industry for 32 years. After graduating with an Electrical Engineering degree, she spent 10 years working in Georgia Power Company’s Substation Control Design group.

That was followed by 11 years in the Supply Chain organization of Georgia Power & Southern Company, working in all areas of Supply Chain (purchasing, volume procurement, contract management, asset disposition & warehousing). After leaving the Southern Company, she spent the next 10 years as an independent contractor and full-time employee with Georgia Transmission Corporation (GTC) in their Procurement Services department. Within the past 12 months, she became Director of Supply Chain Services for Oglethorpe Power Corporation (OPC) and has begun forming a new department and assuming responsibilities for Supply Chain activities that were previously being done by plant personnel.

She participated in OPC’s implementation of Maximo’s Contracts Module from 2009-2010 and will be heavily involved with any future upgrades.

I have worked for the New York Power Authority for 13 years, most recently as a Lead Analyst within Information Technology both upgrading and supporting Maximo. Currently I am the Maintenance Resource Program Manager in our Power Supply Business Unit.

In my current position, I will be the primary business liaison partnering with Information Technology to upgrade Maximo, as well as, identify and implement improvements to our business processes.

I have actively participated in MUWG for several years, including presenting on several topics. I have always considered the MUWG to be an excellent forum for exchange of ideas and practices and hope to further contribute as a committee member.

Ron Wallace has been with Maximo for over 20 years and was the key to the foundation of the group. With over 30 years of professional experience working with utility companies, he has broad experience in working with electric, gas and water utilities. Ron has worked in fossil and nuclear generation in the areas of plant operations & maintenance, engineering and project management systems, and outage management.
